CHICAGO, IL � On September 7th and 8th, Cindy Sheehan and other military families, gold star families, and veterans will participate in several events in the Chicago area as part of their campaign to take the �bring the troops home now� message of Cindy�s vigil in Crawford to people throughout the United States. In addition to public events where they will explain first-hand the devastating effects of the Iraq war, the tour delegation will also visit the home offices of Congressional Representatives and Senators to ask them the same questions that Cindy wanted to ask President Bush this summer.

Today in Crawford, TX, more military families joined Cindy Sheehan, mother of a soldier who died in Iraq, to demand President Bush meet with them and explain why their sons died. All the families have sons, daughters or husbands who have died in the war or are on scheduled duty. Two principal architects of the war, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Secretary of State Condolezza Rice, also arrived in Crawford today to meet with the President.
